Ingredients
makes 1 loaf
- •150g plain white flour
- •200g wholemeal plain flour
- •50g oats plus extra for topping
- •1 tsp salt
- •1 tsp baking soda
- •300ml oat milk
- •1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray.
- 2. Add the apple cider vinegar to a measuring jug, then add the milk and let sit for 2 minutes.
- 3. In a large bowl, add all the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Gradually add the buttermilk to the dry mixture, and stir to combine, until the ingredients come together.
- 4. Form a ball of dough and place on the baking tray. Cut a deep cross in the centre, almost to the bottom. Sprinkle a few oats on top and bake for 30 minutes.
