Ingredients

- •1 tbsp vegetable oil
- •½ onion finely diced
- •1 garlic clove, minced
- •1 tbsp tomato paste
- •1 tsp smoked paprika
- •¼ tsp chilli powder
- •¼ tsp sea salt
- •1 tbsp brown sugar
- •1 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
- •1 tsp dijon mustard
- •1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- •400g can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- •100g passata
Directions
- 1. Heat the oil in a saucepan, and add the onion and garlic. Cook over a medium heat for 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
- 2. Add the tomato paste, smoked paprika, chilli, brown sugar, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar, and cook for a couple more minutes.
- 3. Add the beans and passata, and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the mixture is piping hot and the sauce has thickened a little.
