Ingredients

  • 950ml water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 125g polenta

Directions

Cooking mode
  1. 1. In a large pan, bring the water to a boil. Add the salt.
  2. 2. While whisking gently, pour the polenta into the boiling water in a steady stream.
  3. 3. Continue whisking over a low heat. Cook for 20-30 minutes until it thickens, whisking frequently.
  4. 4. Serve immediately for a creamy polenta, or transfer to a large dish to firm up. Slice the polenta and pan fry for a few minutes on each side, then serve.
