Chocolate orange bundt cake

Orange cake
- •200g self-raising flour
- •1 tsp baking powder
- •60g caster sugar
- •50ml vegetable oil
- •Zest of 1 orange
- •100ml orange juice
- •100ml water
Chocolate cake
- •170g self-raising flour
- •30g cocoa powder
- •1 tsp baking powder
- •60g caster sugar
- •50ml vegetable oil
- •½ tsp apple cider vinegar
- •100ml water
- •100ml soya milk
- •1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
- •20g dark chocolate, melted
Directions
Cooking mode
- 1. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Grease a bundt tin.
- 2. In two medium bowls, mix together the flour and baking powder for each cake flavour.
- 3. Set aside 1 tbsp orange zest for decorating. For the orange cake, whisk together the sugar, oil, remaining orange zest, orange juice and water in a small bowl. For the chocolate cake, whisk together the sugar, oil, vinegar, water, milk and vanilla in a small bowl.
- 4. Spoon the batter into the bundt tin, alternating each flavour, then gently run a knife through to swirl them together. Bake for 40-45 minutes until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- 5. Leave to cool in the tin for 20 minutes, then carefully turn out and leave to cool completely before decorating.
- 6. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top and sprinkle with remaining orange zest. Leave to set before serving.
