Chocolate banana bread

Ingredients
makes 1 loaf
- •220g self-raising flour
- •40g cocoa powder
- •1 tsp baking powder
- •½ tsp bicarbonate soda
- •2 overripe bananas
- •1 tsp vanilla extract
- •1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- •65ml vegetable oil
- •60g dark brown sugar
- •2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- •200ml non-dairy milk
Directions
Cooking mode
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a loaf tin.
- 2. In a medium bowl, add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and bicaronate of soda. Mix and set aside.
- 3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add the oil, sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, apple cider vinegar and milk, then whisk together.
- 4. Add the dry ingredients into the wet and whisk until just combined. Add a little more milk if needed. Pour evenly into the loaf tin and bake for 35 minutes, until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Leave to cool before serving.
